Art Director | Producer | 2D Animation | Professor

Zachary Rich is currently a Professor of Computer Art at the Savannah College of Art & Design, as well as a Co-Founder and Executive Producer at Skynamic Studios, a virtual animation studio he founded in 2013 alongside his business partner, Allison Sribnick. He graduated from the Savannah College of Art & Design with a BFA in Animation on May 29th, 2014, and graduated from the same college with an MFA in Animation on June 3rd, 2017.

At SCAD, Zachary teaches Freshman and Sophomore students how to use Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and the Adobe Creative Cloud to help strengthen their artwork, as well as how to use Autodesk Maya to model in 3D. Aside from teaching classes at SCAD, he is also currently working on his studio's first IP - an animated series called "True Tail".

He is also known online as "FlamingoRich", a pseudonym he used while directing a 30-minute animation that used the characters from the shows "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic", and "The Powerpuff Girls" called "Double Rainboom", (2013). Designed from the ground up as a learning experience, he used this project for college in order to gain experience in running an animated production, which helped lay the groundwork for Skynamic Studios.
